About Loren Kilgore

Her Story

I spent most of my life staying active, playing sports and loving the outdoors. Nutrition was not something I valued or knew much about growing up. And I was never fond of working out (I mean who enjoys running, lol), but as I grew up it became more of a hobby for me.

I got to college and played Division 2 Softball. I remember always feeling discouraged because my weight affected my mental and physical performance. It wasn't until summer before senior year. I discovered my "why" and pursued it full force. I dedicated 3-5 workouts a week and focused on getting fitter, stronger, and faster with no intention of losing weight or feeling incredible. My "why" drove me to dominate on and off the field. It has transformed my life completely. Now that softball is over, I had to make the decision to pursue a new "why". Something that was going to wake me up everyday motivated.

That "why" became my passion and my business, LKFitness. I have this burning desire and purpose to help other women become the healthiest and happiest version of themselves, through exercise and nutrition. Together, we can build a community that loves one another and empowers each other through fitness and health. Without a "why" in my life and God leading my path, I would not be this confident, powerful, and encouraged woman and let alone be excited to help others achieve the same results.

Photo on the left was me freshman year of college, weighing 170lbs. Eating fast food multiple times a week, drinking sugary drinks and working out minimally. My body fat % was considered severely overweight, close to obese.

Photo on the right was me at 23 years old, weighing 145lbs. Eating foods that I love and working out 3-5 times a week. Now I have lost over 30% of my body fat and I feel energized, motivated and dedicated to fueling my body with proper exercise and nutrition.
